Happy Birthday to meeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Sorry about the extra "eeeeeeeee's"....key got stuck (not!)...I'm just glad to be alive to have a birthday, since there was some doubt as to whether or not I'd see another one. This March 29, I'll turn 51, and although I feel some of the effects of advancing middle-age, such as the inablility to tolerate hangovers like I used to, a tendency to tell the same lame stories to my kids over and over(got that one from my Dad...thanks, Ernie!), and a 9 PM irresitable impulse to hit the sack most nights, I am generally still young at heart, and able to rock out, if the occasion arises.

My last post was a sounding a little depressing...the middle of the winter really sucks the life outta me, so that was a true representation of my mental state. However, I've subsequently taken a trip to Orlando, FL with my lovely bride, for a business convention, and soaked up enough Florida sunshine to get me through the rest of this winter, till blessed summer returns to Delmarva, and our beach season commences. Upon our return to the grey & gloomy chill of Maryland, I realized that I'm finally ready to make a series of changes in my life which will enable Di & I to winter in a warm, palm-tree kinda climate, where we can pursue our respective passions....my music-playing, and her personal coaching via Internet business & web site (www.cultivatelife.com). I'm finally ready to deep-six my construction business...after almost 20 years, I'm just plain burned-out on it...the uncertainty of work & income is tiresome in the extreme!!! I'm a musician, and I've been working on my craft for most of my adult life, so I'm going to dive into the deep end, so to speak, and do it for real again...we'll see what happens!!!
