F***K February Party needed, stat...!

I always have trouble dealing with February's gloomy, cold, semi-cheerless 28 (or 29 in leap years) days of slogging through the dead of winter around here...nothing's going on, everybody has the blahs, etc. Diane & I tried to give ourselves something to party about, when we chose to get married on Feb. 17-18, way back when. The two-date thing was on purpose...a bigger party, dammit!!! This year, we were going to escape to the Bahamas for a week, but NIH rescheduled my three-month check-up, so now we are pinned down by appointments, work commitments, kid stuff, etc. and can't do it. I'm bummed out, but being the mature, well-balanced adult that I am, I went to the music store & bought a shiny new Gibson SG electric guitar as a consolation prize...
